Got an email this morning from Trapping Today that said that the State Senator of Illinois signed the bill that muskrat's could legally be trapped, but would be monitored by Illinois Department of Natural Resources. So hooray to anyone in Illinois!

Muskrat trapping has been legal here my whole life. The issue up was shooting rats. Some one got the story wrong.I look for a reprint.
