I came home last nite and the wife said she had found a dead mouse in the driveway. Of course she had to show me this before i had something to eat. There was 2 of these things coming out of the mouses chest. Mouse and all was soaked in bleach over nite. This thing was still alive this morming.

Nasty looking bugger ain't he?! Soaked in bleach ov er night, and he still didnt die? Wow!! As far as what it is, i agree with Rainbolt. Although, i would have no idea what kind of fly, and why it would burry itself into a mouse like that

First time i ever saw anything like that. Pretty disgusting . Nature at work i guess. thanks for the answer. I'll tell the wife. It sure tests my gag reflex.

Deffinatly a Bot Fly larvea.We run across them one once and while in rabbits while hunting them.You also see them on horses.(under front legs mostly)..UGLY LITTLE THINGS !!!!

i thought the reproductive organs got a little out of whack and he was king LOL! I didn't know a fly could do that! A guy learns a thing here an there when he pays attention LOL.
