I know most will say, "set on sign, location, etc..". I want to get the "cream" and move on.... I have seen pics of lyonch's set up and would like to see yours..... I am really interested in seeing a 5 gal. bucket turned into a feeder. I seen one a long time ago that had 1 1/2" pipe going into the sides and angleing downward. This bucket had corn in it. I think this is great but cant find the thread anymore..... You got any pics or ideas? I will be using corn to prebait with....

Seems like if I had a some extra bait to get rid of I would dump it were I was going to trap, it just seems like an added expence in some ways but for a hit/run place in a limited time to trap the area it may be worth it !

went to the fur shed and threw this together.... Just a 5 gal. bucket with a 1 1/2" 45 degree fitting stuck in it....... I know some coon can tear this up but I will give it a go right before season. Oh, I will add another 45 on the other side. Wire to a "T" post where I want to trap. Lawdog, yes it is an added expence. Under the drought condfitions we are in, I want to take advantage of all ideas and trick that I can.... Scott R, seen that also... looks good. I just have a supply of buckets once in a while... lol Hey, where's the shirt?

Looks good cdr! just hope you don't have bears around your area LOL if i made one of them up here id have to take a compass reading to find my way back after i found the bucket!! I had the bright idea of trying a tire with no rim for bears one year and put the bait inside with a flat rock on top had a few coons eating off it worked good for (coons) but i am still looking for the tires i tracked where the bear had lugged them off to but came to the end of the trail and never did find the tires...Lmaoo

Looks good CDR!! I would stake the heck out of that thing! The coon will really tear an area up to get to the goods. I know my tires are heavy enough where i would bust a berry trying to lift them when they are full of corn and grape kool-aid LOL! Use what is a surplus to you because they all work IMO.

Like I stated earlier, I would tie to a T post.... fellas, if a coon takes it away from the fence post, I aint gotta a trap big enough to hold him... lol

CDR here is a faster and cheaper way take a piece of 4 inch pvc attach it to a piece or plywood then cut notches in a couple places where the corn can gravity feed out onto the plywood
