About Any Bear Trappers on catches of Black bear on any ADC stuff.I know they have caused a lot of Problems for New Mexico people.Where are all the great Bear Trappers? We got Muskrat Trappers,Coyote trappers,Beaver,Coon and all these great guys but no BEAR TRAPPERS?
Never have read any regs where it was against the law in New Mexico,I just got their new book,Larry

I think Maine is the only place a guy can trap a bear still! Could be wrong, A lot are culvert trapped and relocated in many places! At least in MI thats the way they did it!

There is still trapping bear here In Maine! clueless on anywhere else, something that is not spoken of offen that is for sure,I know on the Maine trappers forums there is a little talk of trapping bears not a whole lot!

Thats because outside of Maine, the guys that are trapping nuisance bear work for a state goverment wildife agency.

True,there has got to be someone out there trapping bear,that's causing trouble,and what you guys said is true from what I can find,but when the State of Colorado Outlawed Coyote trapping ,you could count coyote trappers by the dozen,,they seem to take care of the public's needs instead of what the state insisted? I know Colorado & New Mexico is having a major problem with Bears and I know the trappers there HAVE got to be taking the problem Bear without the State help,just wondered if anyone ever knew a Bear Trapper,cause its sure a "not talked about Issue" everywhere in the USA?? I believe Mark has trapped them. A good friend of mine and his wife have trapped a dozen or so, snared and toothed trap. He hates the snares, even the ones with the required locks. Says the blunt teeth cause much less trauma to the foot area of the larger animals.
