Got it back this morning after the boy's turkey hunt...Only a cell phone pic, could be much better. I'll never get another in my lifetime I'm sure.

A neat looking coon. Never seen one that color firsthand.

I was about shocked when I saw it..Never saw one like it in these parts before...no one around here had. I guess they're not that uncommon elsewhere.

Beautiful coon. Taxi job needs some work on that rear foot.

Man that sure is a cool lookin' coon!! Really like the live photo of it!! If I walked up to that I'd be thinking a cat or red fox...not coon! Sure would be a suprise!

Yeah the toes were a little beat up from digging in the cage..ya see alot of that with the cage traps. between the toes gets beat up a bit from where they spend all night reaching through the wire. Only real critique I have is the nose isnt really textured and the putty around the eyes stand out a bit. If ya dont see alot of coon like a trapper ya really probably wouldnt notice. Thats the problem with looking at any taxidermy job as a trapper I guess.

Very neat coon! I have never seen a off color coon like that before. I have seen a couple "fisher" coon that are almost jet black, but never a cinnamon or blonde one!

It was my year for off color Lyonch..Never had one before that stood out. This year I got the cinnamon and a fisher..I suspect the well has run dry on me for awhile! Back to focusing on reds again for me next season most likely. Kept the dark one too, but just to have it tanned.
