hi guys i just orderd some#5 fox and coon stretchers the dimensions are 10"X48" if the standerd coon board is 7.5X48 will this extra 2.5" hurt anything make it stretch to much also on a wire coon stretcher how does a person keep the tail of the coon pinned open and strait thanks for any help guys

Never have seen a 10" coon stretcher!~ yes buy stretching 10" wide you will be shorting your self on length which can and will bring the price of that coon way done. when I used wire i would put a mink board up inside the skin and pin tail open and just hang from nose this will keep tail out straight

thank you mark they are duke #5 stretchers they are in the new MTP catalog like page 34 and they are 10" wide i will have to see if i can change it deff dont want to short my self any way shape or form thanks agine
