Weatherman said 1-2 inches but when I left the house I figured it was about over as we had more like 2-4 in places. A wet snow and I missed a few turn-offs slid right by and visibility was terrible with a sticky snow and fogged up windows.
I was hurrying as work had a transport for me, so I get to my river break sets and I drove down a narrow drop-off road that's all gravel so I thought no big deal in and out! Well the breaks were covered with ice and getting down was not much of a issue but getting up was tough.
I went up about a 1/4 way and slid back and kept sliding to the next terrace drop-off almost, it was like flying blind with the windows steamed up and snow covered. First thought was to bailout but I cocked the wheel sideways and that slid me off into the brush. I got lined up and tried it again and gained a couple feet of progress but slid down to get a running start several times. I got to where I had to pop the clutch while sliding backwards to keep from sliding too far with the brakes on even.
It took about 12 tries in low to crest the hill but that makes a guy pucker a bit!

It was wet snow over ice, slicker then a ice skating pond that's wet, mostly black dirt here but it can get greasy when wet!
