I am going to buy some Waxed Dirt or Cover Hulls for the end of the season run!
What would you guys buy Waxed Dirt or Cover Hulls??
I may buy some of each just to see what I like best, but I'd like some input from you all.

Love my waxed dirt best thing to come out in the last 40 years, I don't think I could keep hulls over the trap here with the winds we get!

I can't say anything on cover hulls, I never used them. As for waxed dirt,I make my own , and I love it, it has not failed me yet in deep snow in the past ,to all the rain we are getting now. The mud will freeze all around, but that waxed dirt will keep on working.

Waxed dirt works best for me, I have tried cover hulls in the past and the mice here seem to like them, had to go thru and re-make a lot of sets. The wind caused some problems also.

LMAO--- Yankee's ! we use peat moss -- LOL-- just sayin my friends-D- I've used peat moss, but it absorbs water after awhile too. I like peat, but it's really nothing but powdered super dry dirt and up here in the Land or the winners of the Civil War, we have rain, freeze, rain freeze, but no snow as of yet. Dang Rebs..

I am a Yankee yes, but If I lived in those times, that seem to be mirroring these current times, I'd be a Reb!
I bought some Waxed Dirt and I'm going to give it a try.

I'm a northern Yankee but it seems we may have won the war but the south has the jobs, the good economy, the nice weather and the most beautiful women.."And the Southern girls with the way they talk. They knock me out when I'm down there"

I'd use both. Use the hulls under and over the trap and cover with waxed dirt to save on waxed dirt. If money isn't an issue go waxed dirt.
