I'd like to see some of you younger trappers posting here and I thought I'd offer some incentive. So.... If you'd like to try some FREE muskrat lure, just make a post saying you'd like to be in on the drawing and if I get any response, I'll pick a first, second and third place winner. First prize is a 4 ounce bottle and the second and third prizes are a 1 ounce bottle each. I'll have my grandsons draw the winning names, I'll post them here and contact you for your mailing information, then send it to you. Sorry, but I can only ship within the contiguous US.
I should call this a water line lure, because it works well on coon, beaver and It's not unusual to catch a mink on it now and then, too.
It's still early, so I'll give this plenty of time, so more people have an opportunity to see it and hopefully get in on it. If there's enough interest, I'll do some more of these in the future, with different kinds of lure and maybe some other trapping related things, too.
Thanks and good luck!

I was hoping maybe there were some that checked in from time to time, but weren't posting. Thought maybe this would bring them back. I'm trying to talk my oldest grandson, 9, into joining, but he's kinda shy about it. He's got the bug though, just trapped his first couple woodchucks this summer with a little help.
I wish I'd had a place like this when I was young, the learning curve might not have been quite so steep.

You're in, buddy. I didn't set a date for the drawing. I'd like to get some more people involved and I thought I'd leave it up for awhile. Let's say September 15th, I can always do more. If nobody else enters, you'll be the first, second and third place winner. LOL Thanks for entering!

I know I said I'd mail your lure out Monday or Tuesday, but please bear with me for a couple more days. I've got pneumonia and I haven't been able to do much. I have COPD and when I get this along with it, it kicks my butt. I apologise for the hold up and I'll get your prizes to you soon. Thanks.
I'm sorry about you being sick. Hope you get well soon!
Thank you and I apologise again for the delay. Two courses of some heavy duty antibiotics and I'm starting to feel better. I'm working tomorrow, so I'll get everybody's lure sent out Monday, for sure. Thanks.
