Got a couple -- remake and back about 10in. add another trap [dirthole set] blend it in -- this next caught a digger gray last week - dirthole then just off to the side of the trap-bout 4in. stick your trowel in add Jerry's fox on a stick and close the hole - D-
I like the compass set, but I do not use any gland lure in mine. Gland lure at ground level will sometimes get a rolling response. I use a combination of food lures and curiosity lures and fill one of the holes with urine.

The way I use a compass set is bed my trap in middle of old logging road blend in set then I use small rebar and punch 4 small holes 18-20 inches from pan on all four sides then drop head of q tip with lure down hole or you can use four small sticks with lure on them sticking out of ground 1-2 inches
