I have made a couple of these and these work very nice. Take a round fence post and burn it just to make it black you dont have to but in the winter when there is snow on the ground it will catch there eye alot easier. then i just set a foothold right next to it and where ever you put the trap put fox urine on the other side of it garenteed to work!

I like a flat set out in the open where a coyote can see all around and the area over the trap blended in with the surrounding area. poke a 1/2 in X1/2 inch hole 9 inches from the trap pan and put in gland lure in ther and dust it over. a wad of grass, sheep wool or cotton under the lure keeps it longer.
