give us a idea what type animals there..first off your best bet is to scout an see whats there first and then worry about the set.

I have a little piece of advice for you on the yotes. Instead of worrying about a lot of sets get good at one or two and worry more about location and the sign. I typically use two sets for yotes a simple dirt hole and a scent post using either a bone or a stake of some sort for backing. The key is not the set or the lure but where you make the set.

Any time I see a high spot just on the edge of timber I get excited. Those are the spots I would start. In my opinion any animal using the timber for cover will exit at a high spot as that gives them the advantage of looking around before leaving cover to cross open ground. You have to remember yotes and fox aren't as tall as us and even a slight hump in the ground can give them a much better view for both prey and danger.

would the rub post work ok It might give it a try also go to the post on the step down dirt hole and give it a try. A good scent post thrown in to boot would more then likely work.
