anyone do it? i want to try it this year. LTGREY has some of those PVC tuff traps and they look like they would shine on mink?

F&T carry's them they call there's spray proof skunk traps.. Also The snare shop carry's several sizes....

Was having a coon problem right in town, using sardines in tomato paste as bait, caught a mink, what it was doing in town I don't know. Was a live release out of town. willow ...

Vinke had some pictures and a video about trapping mink in what appeared to be 7x8x24 Havaharts. My skunk cages are that size so I'm thinking of giving it a try this fall.

I have caught a few nink in cages but not that many. When it comes to mink, I use snares, footholds and 110 and 120 kill traps, in that order. That said, I learned first hand from Dave Vinke in Washington state how he catches them in (a Havahart... none the less)cage traps. It's all about location and bait presentation.

Lol thumbstate trapper, I caught a marten by a toe in a NO 1 and when I came along he was just a screaming and barking and growlin' then I want to knock him on the head with a club and he latched on to my hand, big through my leather gloves OWWWWEEEEEEEE them suckers can BITE!
