What do you guys do about your pan tension? How do you decide what your setting the trap pan tension at?
I love the MB~650,I will buy me two dozen later in about Mar or April,Larry Gene

Cameron, just told me that's a MB 550 trap those cats are caught in and I will now go to the 550 like him ,they are not as expensive an they really look good. Thanks Cameron again. We could all live ten thousand years and never learn it all.But yea you gotta have some pan tension on those traps, otherwise they may get a toe catch and been there and done that to,lol,,we all grow together on here and help each other and man that what works!!! My best to all here always,Larry Gene

0 pan tension or falling on its own weight results in toes catches. i set mine at 2 pounds using a bottle of water weigh to 2 pounds or some 2 pound object

Zero on coon, rat and mink traps.. I like 3.0- 3.5 on my canine traps to lower the % of nontarget catches and allow some of my fox to avoid being caught as I do not target them sine we have so few and there starting to make a come back... The higher tension on my coyote traps makes for some nice high catches...
