this is a trap support i have made for1.5's but you can alter to about any trap size. 1st i cut up a bunch or suppers these are about 6" long 2. then i per drill 2 small holes in the center of board. 3.i use 3/16 cold roll rod cut about 6 incehs long. 4 per drill to 9/64 holes for the rods to go in.this will very with trap size and brand. 5.pound rod into the holes, now flex the rods apart a little............. 6 now attach support to a small pole.
7. now set trap and slide onto rods you will have to squeeze rod together just a little to fit under levers bye doing this it locks the trap on the rods. now you have a Nice steady platform and trap will not rock or fall off platform.

top view of plat form, note the rods are little long, this is done to support loose jaw and keep the trap from tipping.

shows how the trap is held in any position, if trap slides off just bend supports out a little more.
