coon or grey don't for get greys roll heavy.i eathe use a fence post staple or cable around a tree, log or i use earth anchors.never lost a coon with a trap but i did have a yote pump a stake with a snare in wyo but he never made it far..i looked for three days and found it after a the snow melted aprox 10 ft off to the side in a willow patch.i have wounder if some one pulled and tossed because i have never seen a yote neck catch pump a 5 ft snare on a 24 inch stake.
