I owned a bunch of duke 160's i had nothing but problems with the weld where the jaws are riveted together, I was able to weld them which held for a while but such cheap steel after a year thay would break again. my question is have thay in proved there steel and the traps so thay do not break all the time?

I have 5 dozen 160's and have never had a problem with any of them. There are a lot of coon a few fisher and a few bobcats that did not liek them. I do not like the 220's the onse I have are 7x6 not 7x7. In 220's SC NW or belisle are the way to go. BTW ihave severla dozne duke 220's for sale LOL

I've found no problems with the Duke 220's really like um, but a couple of years ago at the NTA in Lima I couldn't pass up a deal on 3doz used Belisle 22o's for $8.50 ea. Ain't looked back on using the Belisles since. It pays to get to the conventions early.

Al i have a dozen belisle and man them traps are super strong love them if a could afford 2 or 3 dozen more i sure would add this instead of dukes, I have caught beaver by the tail only in them and had no problem holding them lol 45lb beaver couldent pull the tail out now that tells me nothing could pull out of a belisle.....IMO the best ever made and can not ever be matched!!!!!!!

I use mostly Duke body-grips and I've never had an issue with them. There cheap and reliable.
