That looked like it worked well, but me and my partner just slightly modified an old bumper jack and we pulled all of our stuff(18") pogo with it yesterday and it works really well

Those stake pullers are nice. I have used the Bulldog puller and man that thing has some torque... Because of my back I usually use a tile spade and dig my cable stakes up because even with the added leverage of a puller I really hurt my back when pulling a lot of stakes... Preferably I like to use the winch on the four wheeler if I have the wheeler with me...

I also use the Bulldog. I used to dig down with a shovel to make it a liitle easier now I use a 2" auger that I have in a cordless drill for dirtholes. Run the auger down next to the cable and the anchor comes out pretty easily.

I also carry me a jug of water and while I make another set nearby,I let the cable stake soak and it helps to get them out!!Larry

I made one out of a fire rake. It worked great untill the teeth got bent and broke (about 2 seasons) I use a jack now, but it takes longer than I'd like.
