I was recently given a half dozen Victor #2's with the square jaws. The springs are weak and will need to be replaced. These traps have what I have heard described as the short levers on them. I think I should replace them, but what do I replace them with. Is there a special spring lever made to up grade these traps or do you simply buy what is now on the market for the #2 trap. Thanks in advance for your help

Can anyone else add to this? Cause I don't know. Never owned any Voctor traps before except conis.

What do you plan to use them for?

Fox, but I would get an occasional yote (usually Juveniles) in the set

Just me.....
but new springs, baseplate, laminated, new chain/swivels, etc.....
And they make a nice trap. Just a lot of dinking around per trap. I wouldn't be as concerned about the levers, but maybe you're referring to something I don't know about. That could be.
I know the ones I fixed up are nice.

I would put 1.75 jaws on them.
