I have quite a few hickory trees that drop alot of hulls and nuts every year, can I use the hulls to dye traps like some do with walnut hulls ? thanks in advance

i don't know but i do know red oak bark works and as you said the walnut hulls work .even poke berry's when they turn black will work as a dip for traps but it will come off in a short time

Buckrutt, Youre better off using black walnuts husk for trap dye. It gives it a darker color. Use the hickory hulls for smoking meat!
