When i started driving at 16 or 17 i had a nice farm i trapped and coon hunted. It was always a hot spot for me. As the years went by urban sprawl took it over. Now there's a Home depot on the north end. Housing development on the south end and a golf course in the middle. I got a call yesterday about a skunk. Yes it was in this housing development. I caught the skunk today. Of course the neighbors came out to watch. Three of them approached me about trapping coyotes. Seems the golf course has a good population. I might have picked up some extra work. Funny how thing go around. I have not set a trap on that property in 25 years.

I know what you mean but my uncle took me hunting to a new spot this year and he said it really changed console energy took over and bulldozed the old houses and this happened in only a few years! Seemed like not to bad a place to trap now with some extra land cleared.

Some of the best trapping I ever did was on the edge of the Chicago area, Reds, Grays, Coons and Grinners even Muskrats and a few Minks too!!
