Would like to hear any ways that you make your trap dye. Doesn't matter where your from or what you use just post it here. Let's see how many different recipe's there are.

I have dyed them many ways including: - sumac
- logwood crystals
- hardwood bark
- maple/oak leaves
- soak in swamp muck
- walnut hulls

Walnut hulls boilded down and mix in logwood ,been usein the same batch for the last 20yrs-starts gettin low boil some more,add some logwood..use a new 6gal gas can for storage-when you get done dyeing your traps let it simmer down,strain it,up north keep it in the basement if it freezes and breaks you have one bad mess.

forgot to add DO NOT get it on your hands or clothes,still have spotted levis from last yr.
