It will work. The lures you get accidental skunks with will probably work to.

fox take and boil you 1 dz eggs and let set for 10 days to taint ,then mix a half cup blue cheese dressing,2 ripe bananas and blend well if you want it louder add 1/2 teaspoon of asafoetida
you will get a nice smooth paste bait that also works as a lure .works on both possums and skunk

IMO..sardines are bad..I've caught alot of rabbits with them over the years.I think it's because of the salt.

I caught 8 skunks this past season with cheap dry cat food with a little fish oil mixed in. Works on coons and possums as well. I used a 220 bucket set

Jack mackeral may be cheaper? Wally world has it cheap! I also whip some eggs up and let them sit until they get "fuzzy" then add a little dry catfood until it makes a nice paste (takes time to soak in!!) Then add some glycerine and a little fish oil. Works on coons, skunks and the wiley possum too!

Yep, wet cat food (fish flavor) and sardines will take every skunk in the area.

The best stuff i have found for skunks is the essence from another skunk. I don't know why, but when i get a skunk in a trap, it seems like i catch every skunk in a 5 mile radius before i catch the targeted animal i am after. If you can find some grubs, they love them too.

Sardines are all I ever use. Have caught many skunks in my life too.
