I've heard a lot of folks use them, or cut off pant legs tied shut. What do they weigh full?

they are handy .just place a long the line a week before season starts but exspect some to go missing.it would be easier if you wait a week before season and fill and place at the location but some times the animal will move on you for different reasons . i have used them for coon, beaver, and otter on the end of slide wires

I've heard a lot of folks use them, or cut off pant legs tied shut. What do they weigh full? after these last 2 days seems like a TON lol... we just got done baggin a couple more houses this afternoon... no ones ever seen this kinda water around here its crazy..... Im a lil worried about my muskrat population this year.. its sure changed ALOT of the creeks around here wahin them out and fillin them in with sand, ect.... My only worry was a coon on the end of a slide wire being able to scratch and chew on the bag and rip it opean allowin the sand to fall out..... You ever seen any thing like this befor or am i just thinkin to much haha!

A coon would never beable to chew one apart before drowning.I use the small sand bags all the time for beaver.Dirt, mud or rocks will work OK

Works sweet on a new/long float line, if you trap the same water line every year having other weights out all the year long works nice too! RR plates and cement blocks are nice in the better location that produce critters every year!!!
