Yep heard that also.I know there is alot of 3 prongers that have no seed.As of now it's 390 a pound dry.I think they are waiting for the main flood of root to hit the market.KY and TN Have good crops of wild comming on.Some states you can't even pick until the 1st of Sept.By late Sept I think the tone will be set for the market...Next season the seed is going to be high.I seen it as much as 150 for a pound of seed. With this dry season it might get pricey next year.
Blue cohosh and trillum is almost all down here.To dry..Your area got more rain then we did, everything went south of us.All the plants I have found are very stunned here.I even see a 4 pronger yellow and done for the year. This isn't going to be a good year for the late pickers that wait for the plants to turn.In away it's good.It will save some of wild plants for next season.

Sort of reminds of...Do I hold my fur till next auction with hopes of better money? My thinking is 1 Lincoln in the hand is better than 1 Benjimine in the bush.

Looks more like 350 to 375 a dry pound.
My contact said there is a lot of root being held over from last season waiting for the price to go up.It looks like they are going to flood the market with holdover roots anyways.I guess China has seng left also from last season. The buyers from over seas haven't been snooping around yet either.
