How do you camo your rig up? I am making a canopy for the bathtub today. Well, staring at it pretty hard anyway. If you haven't seen the "bathtub" she is a plastic Leisure Life tri-hull about 9' long. Easily loaded into the bed of a pickup by one man. So anyway, a friend and I took a cruise into waters we had no right to be in Friday. Broke 5 (FIVE!!!) shear pins. hehehe It was fun. We had an unsuccessful day looking for geese yesterday but found hundreds of ducks. I am planning a week off at the end of the month to chase partridge, ducks, geese and generally hide out away from my tool bag. Do any of you guys hunt from a boat? Any pictures of your setups? We are just getting started in this new humbling venture of chasing the winged heathens.

An easy hillbilly hide is made from stuff from the home depot or similar. It starts with3/4 inch iron pipe with flange ends for your bases. I use 1/2 pipe that slips inside for supports. Then I use green plastic wind fence and grass it up useing black wire ties.I have 4 bases per side of my 16 foot boat and it is easy to put up and take a bit down to chase the crips. Cheap and easy and has been workin for 7 years with just regrassing each fall.Rolls up to put away too...

A good idea Fatcat. I am trying to use the oarlock mounts for the upright holders. If all goes as planned I'll be able to tear this thing down and put it back up with nothing more then an allen wrench. I've come a ways with it but may need to color code all the joints and draw step by step instructions. I'm using 1/2" aluminim rod so she should be fairly light but strong. Will have a 6" window on the full starboard side and the roof can, hopefully, be quickly flipped open to light up the sky with steel shot.
