I decided im going to go with 1 name brand in all my traps ( except for a few MBs and duke DPs) I got it down to these two brands, Im leaning more toward the bridger...I said in another thread that the #1 cs seems to be one heck of a coon trap, and im gonna try their #2 on yotes. Think ill even switch to their conis. Whats your all opinions, victors are good, but i dont think they are better then the brigers. They may be equal though.

With out a doubt Bridger gets my vote! IMO the Victors being made right now are no better than a Duke and with twice the pricetag. IMO Bridger is only going to get better now that the Cavens own it....

Should give Sleepy Creeks a look they are made like Victors use to be, and have base plates and extra swivels on them! Dogs are soft and need replacing but thats about it except for the normal tuning! If price is an issue the Bridger may fit your bill, Tim won't make anything thats trash you can bet on that! IMO

I don't believe you would ever be disappointed in the bridgers. Vics are not worth the price. Sleepycreeks make a decent coil spring trap and a great number 11 but they are pricey and not any better then a bridger.

I know I like my #1 bridgers alot better than the #1 vic. I have they seem way stronger and I like the pan set up better.

I love my #2 Bridgers. Mine have full mods, offset for live market. I replace the pan with a # 09 PIT pan, and dog. I like the audible "click" when set. I know a guy from here in GA that held a bear in one of his. Four coiled of course. Tight chains !
