Got a camera in January, and now have 700 pictures of random things. How do I keep them for years? What is the best way?
SD card? Flash drive? Disk?
I heard dvds were origionally only supposed to last 10 years before losing their integrity. Help!

That's a good idea Larry, and I appreciate it, but I would like a little gizmo I can hold in my hand and perhaps just plug in in the future. I will print some off, but not 700. Kinda like a backup I can just toss in the drawer.
Being barely computer literate enough to log on here, can anyone tell me which storage device looks like it will still be in use in 10 years? 20?
Thanks again for the kind offer Larry!

I heard dvds were origionally only supposed to last 10 years before losing their integrity. Help! DVD is the way to go. Get archival quality DVDs and your pics will easily outlast you. You may be able to get a company like Staples to burn them onto a DVD disk for you if so inclined, or do it yourself. 700 pics will easliy fit on one disk.
