a while back i posted that someone had changed their minds about me trapping their land due to their cats.
Well i was talking to them again about it...and turns out her ex husband was a trapper and she said he always came home with legs of coons and that was all...the coon would twist or chew off.
so she has a bad veiw of trapping...I told her with all respect her husband was a poor trapper if that happend all the time. and that he wasnt trapping right.
Out of 4 years of trapping i have never had a coon twist or chew off. Not saying im perfect but a trap that is set up right wont allow that. and the chewing can be avoided with different methods.
Shes not a coon lover but she is worried that will happen to her cats.
So i introduced her to DPs and i showed her the #1 bridgers im using...I said they are nopt painful and brutal. and with that i set it off on my fingures about 3 times right after another.
that seem to help convence that i knew what i was talking about.
then she asked well what do you use for bait? so i told her some of the luires im using...she looked like i was weird lol then she asked if she could take it home to see what her cats would do with it.
So she has a couple bottles of my coons lures i got to see what they will do.
If they go after it i dont get to trap their ground. if they dont go after it i get to trap their ground.
I sent some sweet based lures...I tried em on my cat to see what he would do and he wasnt interested in it...so i got my fingures crossed....
will let ya know what they decide.
