How can I prevent these winged assasins from hanging out around my yard? Got a heckuva sting on the inside of my upper arm today from a wasp. I hate these things. HATE!
Put the juice to where I figure they are hiding just a few minutes ago. Had them build a nest in my chimney last summer, smoked em out. Tired of them. Any tips for trapping and killing these little spawns of Satan?
Oh yes, now you know my only phobia. It was created by, oddly enough, nature calling. 17 stings on one cheek alone. HATE THEM!!!!
Bumble bees are cool. We have an understanding.....

Dont know how true it is but I have heard if you hang a paper bag filled with air they will thing it is another hive and leave.
If you leave a soda can out with a little apple juice and a couple drops of dawn dishsoap in it they will get in and drown. Makes a great little trap. I have done that.

17 stings in one cheek man hard to sit down after that! (Wrong cheek?) Could of been worse I guess! Sorry LOL. I like the Raid with the LONG spray for knocking them down for good! We have a lot of mud daubers here but never have any issues with them! The ground ones seem to be the worse ones most aggressive wise!

LMAO! big, your writing style is ridicules!! Well, now we know where Jerry's mind is at! (don't get me wrong, I'd rather not!) Sorry, can't really help ya with getting rid of them. Except I do like how the "Raid" spray works!

I put the raid to em last night. Flashlight, safety glasses, fast run back wards and into the relative safety of my shop.
My garage has an unfinished second floor where I was poking my head out the window and shooting up to the peak. Still some stragglers this morning. Making some marten boxes up there right now and have had my hiney in pucker mode for the last few hours....
Feel kinda bad if I had to push my son out of the way to get to the door!

LMFAO you crack me up fella! I can just picture you right now playing hide and sneak in sniper mode with a raid can trying to get the bees LOL. I have never had bee problems, so i can't say how to get rid of them. Maybe mother nature needs to jump on the cold snap band wagon and get some cooler temps in maine.

Fight them every year. So we buy a case of beebop and hunt the nests down. Keep after them year after year. Best to find the nest leave it alone till dark then go after them if you can. That way you can get a better kill as the dang things are on the next at night. Found a area at work and probably have killed a thousand or so. We might have them widdled down now. But next year will be doing a major caulking on the building and getting it securied for next season.

Beebop? Never heard of it. Is it foamy? My enemies hate foamy.
I just put on a mudroom to my little shanty of a house and had tons of them living in the peak. Must have been getting in through the end vents. Over the garage they can get in just about anywhere.
Unless they drug off their dead I guess I didn't kill too many last night. Probably resprayed an old nest that I had nuked last year.

Ha! Yeah Bill, I am up there making coni boxes, which takes much longer then anticipated I might add, and something landed on the small of my back while I was painting. Assuming one part of my back is smaller then the rest, I guess. Had a good practice squeal from a ladybug. Round two tonight.

I like the Raid long stream spray. Got to patrol the barn and sheds a couple times a week in summer for the red wasps & yellow jackets.
